Little Planet: A Tale of Frogs – is an insight into the world of frogs found in The Western
Ghats of Southern India. Though commonly found across the Ghats, frogs are one such
species of wildlife that are least concerned while the big ones get all the necessary
attention.
Mostly secretive, most of their activity or behaviour is hardly known by the science. They
get active with the Monsoon and get back to aestivation once Monsoon recede.
Frogs, usually ignored or overlooked upon, are one of the very important species of this
ecosystem and their conservation has become crucial today.
This film is an effort to throw light on these enigmatic beings of our neighbourhood and
their mostly unseen behaviour.
